Vehicle Compliance Policy

RYDO TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITEDCIN U49220TN2026PTC198982Version 2.0Updated October 2026

1Required documents

Before a vehicle is enabled, RYDO verifies the documents required for its category and location. Depending on the service and law, these may include registration, permit or authorisation, insurance, fitness certificate, pollution-under-control certificate and other approvals. A vehicle approved for one service or location is not automatically approved for another.

2Roadworthiness and equipment

Vehicles must be maintained in safe, roadworthy condition and carry legally required safety equipment. Captains must report material damage, changes in ownership or registration, and any condition that makes the vehicle unsuitable for service. Unsafe vehicles must not be used for bookings.

3Renewal monitoring

RYDO records document expiry dates and sends reminders where feasible. A vehicle is suspended from the affected service if a mandatory document expires, is cancelled or cannot be verified, and is re-enabled only after the updated record has been checked.

4Inspections and changes

RYDO may request updated records or conduct reasonable compliance checks as permitted by law. Material vehicle changes are reviewed before further use. Adding a new vehicle type, service category or operating area requires a fresh review of the applicable requirements.

5Secure records

Vehicle records are stored with appropriate access controls and kept only for justified operational, safety or legal periods. Suspected forged documents are handled through a documented process, and serious compliance concerns are escalated.

6Service suspension

When a vehicle is suspended, RYDO documents the reason and scope, notifies the captain where appropriate and explains what evidence is needed for reactivation. RYDO maintains a fair review process while giving priority to immediate legal and safety requirements.

7Vehicle inspection records

Where inspections are required or conducted, RYDO records the date, vehicle identity, issues found, corrective actions and approval outcome. Captains can submit updated evidence or request a review of a mistaken vehicle status.

8Accident, damage and breakdown

Captains must report material damage, breakdowns and accidents promptly and stop using a vehicle that is unsafe or legally unfit. RYDO records the affected vehicle and booking, directs users to the appropriate emergency or support channels and follows applicable reporting duties.

9Change of vehicle or service area

A captain must not switch to an unapproved vehicle or use an approval outside its permitted service category or location. RYDO verifies a replacement vehicle and the applicable local permissions before enabling it for bookings.
