Lost Property Policy

RYDO TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITEDCIN U49220TN2026PTC198982Version 2.0Updated October 2026

1Reporting an item

Riders and captains can report lost or found property through support at support@rydoind.in as soon as practical, with the booking reference, the trip date and a short description. Please avoid posting full personal details, identity documents or sensitive information in public places.

2Safe return coordination

Where reasonable, RYDO may help coordinate a return through a safe process, using official communication channels. RYDO does not share a rider’s or captain’s personal phone number, address or live location without consent or another lawful basis.

3Sensitive or valuable items

Phones, identity documents, bank cards, cash and other high-value items are handed over through a documented process. RYDO does not ask a finder to unlock a device or inspect private contents. If theft, fraud or danger is suspected, the affected person is advised to contact the appropriate authorities.

4Costs and timing

If a delivery or return fee is proposed, it is disclosed and agreed before the service is arranged. Return depends on availability and the people involved, and RYDO does not promise recovery or a guaranteed timeframe.

5Records and limits

RYDO records only the case details needed to coordinate the request and follows the Data Retention & Deletion Policy. RYDO can assist with coordination but cannot guarantee that an item will be found or returned. Suspected misuse or threats are escalated through the appropriate channel.

6Handover and verification

Valuable or sensitive items are returned through a traceable handover method. Before returning an item, RYDO takes reasonable steps to confirm that the claimant can identify it, without asking for excessive personal information, and records the handover date, method and acknowledgement where appropriate. Suspected theft or threats are escalated to the relevant authorities. Photographs that reveal identity documents or private contents are not published.

7Unclaimed property

RYDO follows a documented process for storing, safeguarding and eventually dealing with unclaimed items, consistent with applicable law and the nature of the item. Identity documents, bank cards and potentially dangerous items are not disposed of casually, and the guidance of the relevant authority is followed where needed.

8Liability and assistance limits

This policy describes the coordination RYDO can provide and what is outside its control. It does not exclude any responsibility that the law does not permit RYDO to exclude.
