Payment & Settlement Policy

RYDO TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITEDCIN U49220TN2026PTC198982Version 2.0Updated October 2026

1Supported payment methods

Riders can pay the fare in cash or online through Razorpay Checkout, for example by UPI. Payment is made after the trip is completed, and the final fare is shown in the app when the trip ends. Pending, failed, reversed and duplicated transactions are handled as described below.

2Captain settlements

Captains earn the fare for each completed ride, less RYDO’s commission (5%–15% per completed ride for standard captains, depending on the applicable plan, city, category or promotion, and 0% for qualifying Founding Captains under the Offer Terms) and any separately disclosed platform charges, taxes or adjustments. Earnings are recorded in the captain’s wallet in the app, and a captain can request a payout of their available balance to their verified bank account. Payout limits may apply. Captains can review their transactions in the app and raise a discrepancy through support at support@rydoind.in.

3Payment security

RYDO uses reputable payment providers and restricts access to payment records. RYDO staff and captains will never ask a user to reveal a UPI PIN, card PIN, password or any one-time password sent for payment or login. Users are directed to the official payment provider for authentication and should never install unknown payment apps at anyone’s request.

4Reconciliation and refunds

RYDO reconciles booking records, payment-provider reports, refunds, captain settlements and fees on a documented schedule, investigates duplicate or missing transactions promptly and keeps an auditable record of corrections. Refund timing depends on the payment provider’s process; see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5Tax and compliance

Invoicing, GST treatment and tax withholding, where applicable, depend on RYDO’s business model and current law. RYDO treats customer collections, captain payouts and RYDO revenue as distinct. This policy is not tax advice.

6Failed or disputed transactions

Riders and captains can report failed, reversed, missing or duplicate transactions to support@rydoind.in. RYDO reconciles app, payment-provider and settlement records before making a correction and communicates the outcome without exposing another person’s financial data.

7Fraud prevention and disputed payments

RYDO investigates suspected payment fraud using relevant booking and transaction records, applies access restrictions proportionately and preserves evidence where lawful. Users are told what action or information is needed where appropriate, without revealing security controls that would enable abuse.

8Payment provider outages

When a payment provider or bank is unavailable, RYDO checks the status of pending or delayed transactions and, where possible, does not ask users to pay a second time until that status is known. RYDO reconciles afterwards and issues corrections or refunds when warranted.

9Statements and tax documents

RYDO provides receipts or settlement statements as required by law and the actual payment flow, keeps records consistent across the app, the payment provider and accounting systems, and makes sure any tax invoice contains the details required for the relevant transaction and tax treatment.

10Security and complaints

Suspicious payment requests or impersonation can be reported to support@rydoind.in, and RYDO investigates complaints promptly. Users should never share PINs, passwords or payment or login one-time passwords with a captain or a support representative.
