Rider Terms of Service
1Booking information
Riders should provide accurate pickup and destination details, a working contact number and any information reasonably required to complete a booking. Before boarding, compare the captain’s name, vehicle registration and booking details shown in the app. If the details do not match, do not board; move to a safe place and contact support or local authorities if there is an immediate danger.
2Conduct and safety
Riders must treat captains respectfully, follow applicable traffic and safety rules, use seat belts or helmets where required, and avoid distracting the driver. Threats, violence, harassment, discrimination, property damage, unlawful activity and attempts to pressure a captain into unsafe or illegal driving are prohibited. Report serious incidents through official support and keep the booking reference.
3Fares and payments
Review the displayed fare estimate and any disclosed platform charges, taxes, tolls or cancellation fees before confirming. Any fare change is supported by the trip details and the disclosed pricing rules. Use only payment methods supported by RYDO. Never disclose a UPI PIN, card PIN, password or any payment or login one-time password to a captain or to anyone claiming to be RYDO support. The 4-digit trip OTP shown in the app is the only code to read out, and only to the captain who has arrived for your booking.
4Cancellations, refunds and support
Use the app to cancel before the ride starts and review any cancellation rules shown at booking. Refund requests can be made for duplicate charges, failed trips, incorrect fees or other eligible issues. Provide the booking reference and relevant details, but do not send unnecessary sensitive information. RYDO will explain its decision and any next step through support at support@rydoind.in. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5Emergencies and account action
For immediate danger or a medical emergency, contact local emergency services (112) first; in-app support is not a substitute for emergency response. RYDO may review reports and apply proportionate restrictions for fraud, abuse or safety risks, subject to applicable law. A rider who believes a restriction is incorrect can ask for a review through support at support@rydoind.in.
6Accurate and respectful communication
Riders should keep their phone reachable during pickup and use in-app communication where available. They must not use another person’s contact details without permission, record or share another person’s private information unlawfully, or use the platform to threaten, intimidate or harass.
7Trip changes and additional passengers
Riders should update the destination or other material booking details through the app where the feature permits. Any resulting fare or service change will be shown before acceptance where possible. Riders must not exceed the lawful or stated passenger capacity of the vehicle.
8Items and prohibited conduct
Riders are responsible for their belongings and must not transport prohibited or dangerous items contrary to law or disclosed service rules. RYDO does not guarantee that a lost personal item will be recovered; see the Lost Property Policy.
9Feedback and fair review
Riders can submit honest feedback about a completed trip. RYDO may review credible reports of manipulation, abusive content or false claims, and provides a reasonable way to challenge material errors in an account or complaint decision.
10Receipts and trip records
Riders can ask support for their booking receipts and trip and support records, and can ask for inaccurate records to be corrected. If a feature is unavailable in a particular area, RYDO will say so. RYDO keeps passenger data confidential and uses it only for legitimate trip, support, safety or legal purposes.
